Volunteering

Volunteer Interpreter Group (Bogoshiensha)

This group provides interpreting and translation to assist people who don’t speak Japanese. Assistance is available for city hall procedures, school interviews, children’s periodical health checkups, shopping, etc. Interpreting/translation related to business or medical situations are not possible. Requests for assistance are emailed to registered volunteers who then decide if the request suits their schedule and/or language ability.
