Taka-chari Free Coin-operated Bicycle Service

 

Taka-chari are the red spotted-bicycles you may have seen around town.

You can borrow one by inserting a 100 yen coin into the key box.

Your money is returned once you have locked the Taka-chari to one of the

many cycle ports around the central city area.

 

Cautions: Only ride the Taka-chari in the designated area of use (map below),

and be sure to return it to a cycle port when leaving it unattended

even for a short time.
