Junior International Club Members


Junior International Club is a group of 40 Takasaki students from grade 4 through to junior high school who get together 9 times a year to participate in international activities. In 2017, the group will make pizzas with non-Japanese residents, visit the Asian Rural Institute, volunteer at the International Festival and hear about the experiences of people who have lived in a different culture.

Eligible Students: Must live in Takasaki and be from grade 4 of elementary school to grade 3 of junior high school.

Cost: 7,000 yen per year

Number of Spaces: 40

Apply: Send a postcard to the International Relations Society (35-1 Takamatsu-cho, Takasaki) with the student’s name, address, telephone number, school name, grade, and a few words about in their own handwriting about why they are interested in the club.

Deadline: Postcards must arrive at the office by Monday 23rd April.
